Mark 4:41 (9-8-10)

Mark 4:41 - "They became very much afraid and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?""
This, of course, is the ending of the story where Jesus rebuked the wind and the sea. Over and over in the gospels, we find people, even the disciples, questioning who Jesus is, or asking Him to show them the Father. Jesus was the revelation of God. He was the fullness of God in the flesh. He said in John 14:9 - "He who has seen Me has seen the Father." and in John 10:30 - "I and the Father are one." Jesus had authority over creation because He is the Creator. So in answer to the disciples question, "Who then is this?" Who else could it be but God? The disciples saw His abilities but questioned His person. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is God, but so often doubt His ability.
Doubt results in fear. Fear is a lack of trust, which is sin.
1 John 4:18 - 'There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear".
